OUR HISTORY
In June 2007, the Valiyavila Foundation(Established and funded by Dr. Joseph D. Fernandez) bought Sree Saraswathee Central School in Chittumala, E. Kallada, and named it St. Joseph International School (SJIS), Chittumala, with about 43 students, situated in the old printing press building in Chittumala.

Our Facilities
Our building and class rooms are designed to accommodate individualized instruction in small group settings. Room size is 42 feet long and 24 feet wide which is more than double the size of the Government requirement which is 20 feet by 20 feet. Some rooms are even bigger than this size. We have over 3.5 acres of land providing ample play grounds for sports and athletics
Library
Our library is well-stocked with reference books, general knowledge volumes and journals to support every student’s reading habit and academic research.
Transportation
The school bus shall be used only for the transportation of students. Parents who wish to send their children by the school bus should previously apply to the Principal. All students must use school bus for transportation if they need.
Smart Class
Our Smart Class programme uses advanced audio-visual tools to reinforce academic learning. With one of the best digital systems available, every class benefits from interactive and engaging lessons that enhance understanding, retention, and recall.
Hostel
Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-ventilated with adequate furniture and personal storage facilities, creating a pleasant and restful atmosphere.
